Meet Darilyn Edmison

Darilyn graduated with her Bachelor of Education from University of Regina in 1987. She majored in Early Childhood Education and early years literacy. Since then she has taught every grade from Pre-kindergarten to grade 12, becoming a Senior High English specialist. She worked as  Literacy Consultant and evolved into becoming the Inclusive Education Teacher. She has participated in provincial schools in Saskatchewan, Alberta and Manitoba as well as private education and since 2020 she has been employed at a band-operated school.

Darilyn attended Spring Arbor University online studying communications and University of Calgary acquiring a graduate diploma in Administrative Leadership and a graduate certificate in Personal Wellness. 

Darilyn became a certified Life Coach in 2015, and completed her training as a Play Therapist in 2026. She is a Professional Member of Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.

Darilyn obtained 32 Adult Education Credits from Lifeway Christian Resources, and facilitated Support groups through Grant Memorial Baptist Church. Her wealth of Biblical knowledge helped form her Vision and Mission for Toy Box Counselling Limited.
